From January 1 through April 1, in the Homestead Office:

Homestead Tax Exemption
If you are 65 on or before January 1, you qualify for the additional exemption.

Homestead Tax Exemption
You will need:
- Tag Receipts or Tag Numbers
- Warranty Deed
- Closing Paperwork on Your Home
- Your Social Security Card (you need to bring the actual card not just the number)

Homestead Tax Exemption
Total disability qualifies for a special homestead exemption. You must be 100% disabled and bring proof that shows disability from the Social Security office form (TPQY).
